Please come and testify at the class size hearings this Thursday!

The NYC Council hearing on class size will be held THIS Thursday 2/29/24 at 1 PM; with a press conference at 12 noon in front of City Hall; please come to show your support!

If you do come to the press conference at noon, but don’t want to stick around to hear the DOE testify, the public testimony will likely start at 2 PM or or later, so you can go home, pick up your kids at school, and then log on to speak remotely.

The best testimony is to speak from your own experience as a parent about how your child would benefit from smaller classes, or has in the past when class sizes were smaller. But we have also posted some additional talking points you can add if you’d like; here as a pdf.

Remember: you are limited to only two to three minutes in your oral testimony; written testimony can be longer. But please join us at noon to City Hall, and/or sign up to testify, or both! It’s important to show your Council Members and others that you care.
