Dear all —
Thank you for signing our petition urging the Gov. to sign the class size bill. We delivered the petition to her via her education secretary yesterday.
However, it looks like there is a deal going down tonight for her to sign the Mayoral control bill with some minor changes — but not the class size bill.
Please call your Legislators immediately! You can find your Assemblymember here and your Senator here. Leave the following message:
My name is x, my phone no. is y. As your constituent, I urge you NOT to agree to any changes to Mayoral control unless Gov. Hochul agrees to sign the class size bill at the same time!
